Meet Our Team

Dr. Cordes is very proud to have the daily support of such a talented and experienced team who goes above and beyond for each patient in need! From the front desk to the treatment room, we’re always taking the time to learn about the individuals and families we care for, discussing school, work, and simply what’s going on in everyone’s lives from appointment to appointment. If you ever have a question or concern, don’t hesitate to let us know so that we can address it right away. You can also keep reading below to learn more about us:

Heather, Westfield Office Manager

Westfield orthodontic office manager Heather

Heather has been a vital part of Dr. Cordes’ orthodontic office since 2000, and is one of 30 Certified Dental Practice Management Administrators (CDPMAs) in Massachusetts, with a bachelor’s degree from Westfield State University with concentrations in business, music, biology and computer science.

Now that her children are grown, she still enjoys many volunteering roles in the community. Some of her passions are the Westfield River Watershed Association (WRWA), the Western Mass Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) where she has been an active leader for over 30 years, the New England National Scenic Trail (NET), and the Western Mass Hilltown Hikers. When there is extra time, you might find her in the Westfield Theatre Group productions, AEIOUle Northampton Uke Group, or the Greater Westfield Community Band.

Lisa, Practice Relations Coordinator (All Three Locations)

Orthodontic office relations coordinator Lisa

Lisa attended Our Lady of the Elms College for her education, and she is also certified in CPR. Today, she has been a proud member of Dr. Cordes’ team for nearly a decade! Whether she’s in the orthodontic office or out in the local community, she loves the diverse opportunities her job brings on a daily basis.

Lisa and her husband Gregory have been married for well over 20 years – in fact, they first met while working as ski instructors on the slopes of Mt. Tom. Together, they have two terrific boys – Matthew, a sophomore at Wentworth Institute of Technology, and Jack, who is a senior at St. Mary’s Parish School. Together, they love making memories at the beach in Maine and snow skiing/racing in New England. Outside of work, Lisa herself can often be found watching her sons play baseball, cooking and entertaining at home for family and friends, doing fun chores like gardening, watering, and weeding, and listening to live music. She also continues to be a professional ski instructor – her specialty is teaching very young children and moms.

Allyssa, Orthodontic Assistant (All Three Locations)

Allyssa began her career in 2017 after completing her dental assisting training at Porter and Chester Institute. You’ll know Allyssa when you meet her—she brings high energy and a positive can-do attitude to work every day. Fun fact: she’s also a former patient of Dr. Cordes!

In her free time, Allyssa enjoys fishing and spending quality time with her family.
